Do You Hear What I Hear?

Anyone that knows me, knows I loooooove Christmas music. I used to listen to it year round, but I've managed to wean myself down to just listening during the month of December. I have at least 30 Christmas cds that include jazz, blues, gospel, country, r&b, pop, instrumental and even calypso/raggae (don't ask!) I actually pulled out the Christmas cds over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend and I'm glad I did. Christmas music fills me with joy, hope, happiness and peace and it provides excellent background music for writing. I'm blaming my parents for my Christmas music obsession. I can remember being a young, young girl driving around town with my parents looking at the Christmas lights all around -- and we were always singing and enjoying Christmas carols, with my parents telling stories of their favorite Christmas memories.

Anyway...Below are just a few of my favorite Christmas cds. If you're looking for some great music to remind you of the true reason for the season -- check 'em out. Also, if you have some Christmas music favorites -- please share them. I can never have too many cds for my collection. :-)

SB -- I'm gonna have to check Roots out.

Writer -- embrace your role as Santa, I know I do. I love the season because it represents the joy of what it's like to give from the heart.

TDJ -- I have Bebe & CeCe's first Christmas. Don't have SWV or Whitney though. I need a Whitney Christmas song cd -- thanks for the reminder and thanks for stopping by.
